Crown Creates Colorful Summer Memories for Kids

As the summer sun bathes the earth in golden light, Crown New Materials’ summer “Kids’ Workshop” transformed into a unique creative feast, weaving a magical and laughter-filled summer for the children. In this season, ordinary adhesive tape—often overlooked in daily life—takes on a new role, becoming a magical link that connects hearts and sparks boundless creativity.

Highlights of Crown New Materials’ “Summer Workshop”

Upholding its commitment to caring for employees’ families and alleviating the summer childcare challenges faced by young dual-income and underprivileged families, Crown New Materials has meticulously organized the “Summer Workshop” for three consecutive years. The program aims to provide children with a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for summer growth, benefiting over 200 students and hundreds of families to date.

This year’s workshop is packed with highlights: in addition to a diverse curriculum covering character development, legal awareness and self-protection, skill-building, social practice, and homework support, it also introduced the special “Tape a Friend” STEM activity. Through hands-on projects, children experienced the joy of creativity while crafting their own summer memories.

Nano Tape Play: Unlimited Creativity, Endless Fun

In the Nano Tape Play class, Crown’s nano adhesive tape transcended its conventional sticking function to become a catalyst for creativity. Children discovered the limitless possibilities of nano tape, using their nimble hands to craft a variety of magical creations: sparkling water balls, light and transparent air bubbles, and uniquely shaped animals and cartoon characters. Each piece reflected the children’s vivid imagination and creativity, leaving everyone marveling at their ingenuity.

Heritage Lacquer Painting & Floral Fan Craft: Preserving Tradition Through Childhood Creativity

Crown New Materials also offered a special course on creating heritage lacquer-painted floral fans, allowing children to experience the charm of traditional culture while crafting their own artistic treasures. The lacquered fans and floral hairpins—two cultural gems rich in historical significance—came to life in the children’s hands with the help of Crown’s double-sided paper tape. Using lacquer as ink and tape as a bridge, they skillfully blended traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, producing unique, one-of-a-kind creations full of Eastern charm and cultural heritage.
