Driven by the rapid development of emerging sectors such as new energy vehicles, smart wearables, and wearable medical devices, low surface energy (LSE) materials—such as PE, PP, TPU, and TPO—are being widely adopted for their lightweight properties, cost efficiency, durability, and recyclability, resulting in rapidly growing market demand.

However, due to their low surface energy and tightly packed molecular structure, these materials exhibit “hard-to-bond” characteristics in practical applications: weak initial tack, poor adhesion, and a tendency to peel or lift at the edges. Conventional adhesives struggle to form stable bonds on their surfaces, posing a significant technical challenge in automated manufacturing.

To address this industry challenge, Crown New Materials has launched a high-performance LSE bonding solution. This product demonstrates outstanding adhesion on a wide range of typical LSE materials, including PP, PE, TPU, TPO, and powder-coated surfaces, enabling direct bonding to non-polar or hard-to-bond surfaces without the need for a primer. Even in mechanically challenging environments with slight oil contamination, it maintains excellent cohesion and stable adhesion. The tape offers exceptional holding power and high peel strength under elevated temperatures, ensuring long-term stability without shifting or edge lifting, fully meeting the demands of highly reliable applications. Additionally, the series is available in multiple thicknesses ranging from 150–170 μm, allowing flexible adaptation to various structural designs and assembly processes, helping customers drive structural innovation and manufacturing upgrades while expanding design possibilities.

Currently, Crown New Materials’ LSE series is widely applied across multiple industries, including:

Consumer Electronics: Bonding for specialized housings, VR frames, laptop keyboards, and smart devices;
Home Appliances: Fixing and bonding PP and PE panels for washing machines, air conditioners, and more;
Smart Healthcare: High-efficiency bonding for TPU casings and wearable sensor housings;
Industrial Assembly: Component fixation, structural bonding, and powder-coated surface applications.

At present, Crown New Materials has provided professional bonding solutions for numerous end customers. With stable product quality and excellent service capabilities, it has earned wide recognition and trust across industries.

Looking ahead, Crown New Materials will continue to drive breakthroughs and implementation of adhesive materials in complex applications through technological innovation, empowering customers to create more efficient and reliable product solutions.
