OLED display modules offer significant advantages in display performance, structural design, energy efficiency, and process compatibility. They have already been widely adopted in small-size devices such as smartphones and smart wearables, and are now rapidly expanding into medium- and large-sized applications, including tablets, laptops, and automotive displays.

To address this fast-growing market demand, CROWN (www.crown.com.cn) has developed a comprehensive OCA bonding solution portfolio for OLED display modules, covering full-lamination OCA, rigid curved display OCA, and foldable display OCA. These solutions support the high-quality development of OLED display modules across diverse application scenarios.
Full Frame Lamination OCA
CROWN’s full-frame lamination OCA is a UV post-curing OCA. Prior to UV curing, it exhibits excellent ink step coverage capability. After lamination and UV curing, it delivers strong adhesion and effectively suppresses bubble rebound. In addition, the adhesive features high tensile break strength, enabling easier rework, clean peeling, and residue-free removal.
This OCA is primarily used for seamless bonding between OLED display panels and cover lenses, helping to optimize display quality while ensuring long-term, reliable module adhesion.
OCA for Rigid Curved Displays
The key challenges in 3D curved display OCA lamination lie in the complex bending profiles and curvature variations of the display itself. Uniform adhesion, optical consistency, bubble suppression, stress dispersion, and process precision must all be ensured; otherwise, defects such as bubbles, edge lifting, and creasing may occur.
CROWN’s OCA for rigid curved displays is also a UV post-curing OCA. Before UV curing, the adhesive offers high ink step absorption capability. After lamination and UV curing, it forms strong, stable adhesion and effectively prevents bubble rebound, enabling uniform bonding and excellent optical performance for 3D curved displays.
OCA for Foldable Display
The main challenge in foldable display OCA lamination is that the OCA must withstand repeated folding and bending while maintaining high tensile break strength and long-term fatigue resistance to ensure module reliability over its service life.
CROWN’s OCA for foldable displays features low elastic modulus variation, providing stable folding performance even across different temperatures. It also offers a high creep recovery rate, which helps extend the folding lifespan of the display. In addition, its low high-temperature creep variation rate enhances heat dissipation tolerance while maintaining superior folding performance, thereby supporting higher thermal limits for foldable displays.
Currently, CROWN’s OLED display module OCA solutions have been successfully applied across the industry and have earned strong trust and recognition from customers. Leveraging robust R&D capabilities and professional project management, CROWN provides customized solutions and end-to-end technical support, empowering customers to achieve high-performance display module applications and continuous innovation.
